Hydroponics involves the growing of plants without soil using mineral nutrient solutions in a water solvent .Akwill Grow Media “I.I.T.A. brand” is an ideal grow media for agriculture. It is specifically designed for growing Yams and Vegetables .It can be used with or without our hydroponic grow systems. In either case, there is no need for herbicides or pesticides to be used for agriculture where it is used with our grow systems.

A combination of our IITA Brand  environmental grow media substrates in our grow natural fibre grow systems results in faster grow times,yield and higher quality produce compared with less yield , slower growth and poorer quality produce grown without our Grow Media or natural fibre grow systems. Where water is a scarce resource ,our grow systems are four times more efficient.

Natural Fiber Hydroponic Grow systems are an environmental alternative to farming using plastic buckets or containers.We recommend the use of our IITA brand Akwill Grow media and Natural fibre grow system which uses coco based substrate and coco netting designed to size the hydroponic grow tubes for all planting requirements. IITA brand Akwill Grow Media and natural fibre in tubes helps develop more elaborate and stronger root systems , requires less fertilizer and helps plants against disease, weeds and pathogens. No herbicides or pesticides are necessary. IITA Brand Akwill Grow Media and natural fibre tubing have a neutral ph ,eliminates the possibility of all plant pathogens , is easy to manage and is ideally replaced after each harvesting session.

Bumper Lettuce

Directions on how to use IITA Brand - Akwill Natural Fibre Grow Media for Nurseries to form Plugs for transplanting into Natural Fibre Grow Tubes and Containers

1. Plant the seeds in the Akwill Grow media at the nursery and watch develop for 2 weeks. Thereafter, remove each plant after the plugs are formed.
2. Arrange the grow pipes as desired and insert the plugs in the natural fibre in the grow tubes.
3. Turn on the nutrient pump which will pump the plant nutrients throughout the natural fibre in the grow tubes.
4. Turn off the pump once the grow media is fully saturated. Let the system sit for 1 to 2 hours.
5. Add the fertilizer plan through the tanks connected to the pumps till the grow media is fully saturated and regulate the timer to start and stop the pump at intervals during the day.
6. Just watch the crop develop.

Our Natural Fibre Organic Farming Systems can be used to produce high yield organic vegetable crops fast with minimal hassle. There is no tilling of soil, nor the use of harmful herbicides or pesticides. It is a simple process of the operative planting the seeds/or plugs in the grow tubes and switching on the pumps which is regulated by a timer. Leafy vegetables such as lettuce are harvested from seed in 19 days.

Equipment Usage:

• Open the door lid.
• Make sure the Switch/Dial is in the OFF position.
• Plug the electrical power cord into an appropriate electrical socket installed by our technician.
• Open the Hopper Lid and fill half way with our green energy charcoal. Turn the switch to ON.
  WARNING!! ONLY USE OUR GREEN ENERGY CHARCOAL as these have been specifically manufactured for the equipment.
• Lay aluminium foil on the barbecue tray.
• Place the food to be barbecued on the grill after marinading the food.
• Fill the rest of the hopper to the brim with our coconut charcoal.
• Turn the switch to smoke and within 2 minutes, the green energy charcoal will start smoking and a white grayish smoke will be formed.
• Turn the switch onto High or Medium and leave the food to cook for the recommended time.

Kindly dispose of the bag /container in an environmental way and keep both the product and the empty bag away from children. Ensure that children do not play near or have access to the product.

Our Green Energy Barbecue Equipment works by super-heating our green energy charcoal in our specialty barbecue appliance which then converts the coconut charcoal into a gaseous state which smokes the food till it cooks. The smoke which is released is used to barbecue the food in the equipment which has been specially modified to process our coconut charcoal. The green energy avoids the harmful effects of kerosene or other petroleum products typically used for conventional charcoal barbecues.
